Mechanical engineers create the world around us. From the smallest nanotechnology to cars and buildings, to space stations and airplanes, mechanical engineers are responsible for the design as well as the development of most things.
Studying vocational in mechanical engineering is a combination of maths, science, and computing. It’s the study of machinery, and how to mass produce and maintain it at all levels. It’s a boundless subject, which plays a role in everything from vehicles to cities, energy to artificial intelligence, military to healthcare, and everything in between.
Key Feature
Teaching and general pedagogy focus on theoretical education and training, and on developing the education system and teaching curricula.
Diagnostics and support deal with learning procedure diagnostics, heterogeneity in individual support approaches, schools, and performance assessment.
Professional training in schools and companies comprises content on vocational education and the specific structure conditions of the vocational college.
Technology training provides two courses involving practical exercises and theories to learn how to teach technical knowledge
Automobile Engineering
Bachelor of Vocational Studies in Automobiles is a three-year undergraduate program that teaches students how to design, manufacture, and repair automobiles. The course is designed to transmit knowledge of Automobiles Servicing, Designing, Maintenance, and various technologies involved in Automobile Engineering.
BVoc Automobile Admission is done based on Entrance Examinations such as IPU CET, AMUEEE, etc followed by a group discussion/ personal interview round and document verification. However, admission is also granted based on the merit of a student. A student must have completed class 10+2 from a recognized board.
Key Feature
B.Voc. Automobile Engineering is a bachelor’s degree program in automotive technology.
The three-year program covers constructing, the examination of designing, and operating vehicles such as tractors, buses, and automobiles, as well as their specific design subsystems.
In BVoc course, specializations in optimal design, hardware, emissions, ergonomics, elective energizes, suspension, fabrication, materials, motorsports, power train, quick prototyping, vehicle, and pedestrian safety, and supply chain management are also available.
A candidate after the completion of the degree will be able to choose from a variety of activities in several automotive fields.
Candidates who are interested in automobiles, mathematics, mechanics, and technology should be efficient and well-organized in their work.
Virtual Instrumentation
The rapid adoption of the PC in the last 20 years catalyzed a revolution in instrumentation for test, measurement, and automation. One major development resulting from the ubiquity of the PC is the concept of virtual instrumentation, which offers several benefits to engineers and scientists who require increased productivity, accuracy, and performance.
A virtual instrument consists of an industry-standard computer or workstation equipped with powerful application software, cost-effective hardware such as plug-in boards, and driver software, which together perform the functions of traditional instruments. Virtual instruments represent a fundamental shift from traditional hardware-centered instrumentation systems to software-centered systems that exploit the computing power, productivity, display, and connectivity capabilities of popular desktop computers and workstations. Although the PC and integrated circuit technology have experienced significant advances in the last two decades, it is software that truly provides the leverage to build on this powerful hardware foundation to create virtual instruments, providing better ways to innovate and significantly reduce cost. With virtual instruments, engineers and scientists build measurement and automation systems that suit their needs exactly (user-defined) instead of being limited by traditional fixed-function instruments (vendor-defined).
Information Technology
As the name suggests, this vocational course deals with Information Technology and its allied background. This training programme is also known as B.Voc. IT. What is a vocational course in the IT sector all about, you may ask? IT stands for Information Technology. In simple terms, this discipline deals with aspects such as – storing, protecting, manipulating, transferring, and conversion of information. IT plays a massive role in different walks of our life! This is the era of information technology! information/data is the new precious commodity!
B.Voc in IT is a Bachelor of Vocation course in engineering.
The academic program is three years long. It has multiple exit options too i.e Diploma after 1st year, Advanced Diploma after 2 years and Bachelor’s Degree after 3 years.
In BVoc course, specializations in optimal design, hardware, emissions, ergonomics, elective energizes, suspension, fabrication, materials, motorsports, power train, quick prototyping, vehicle, and pedestrian safety, and supply chain management are also available.
The minimum educational qualification required is the student must have completed 12th in any stream such as Arts, Commerce, or Science from a recognized board.
Construction Technology
B.Voc in Construction Technology or Bachelor of Vocation in Construction Technology is an Under-Graduate Architecture Science and Technology course. The Bachelor of Vocation programme in Construction Technology delivers courses in construction science covering the commercial, heavy civil and residential fields.
The study will help you find out about development materials and green structure strategies utilizing readings, hands-on research center activities, 3-D models, and site visits. Construction Management courses in evaluating; BIM, booking, security, place of work the board, and soil testing are additionally given.
The B.Voc degree prepares candidates for roles in management functions such as estimating, project management, and scheduling.
Students learn the basic engineering principles and technical skills necessary to assist engineers and other professionals supervisor in the construction of buildings and other structures.
The course is advantageous to prepare graduates for future roles in managing people, materials, equipment, technological processes, and funds in the building, construction, and maintenance of buildings and assets in the civil infrastructure.
Students can also go for further research studies as soon as they complete this course.
Electrical Technology
In an electrical mechanic technology vocational diploma programme, candidates learn through classes and hands-on training in institute labs. These vocational programs take two semesters to complete and can be specialized in multiple specific career fields, such as electrician, and construction.
A diploma programme is just not sufficient for licensing as an electrician, which every state requires. Most electricians get trained through apprenticeship programmes lasting a few years. A vocational diploma is not required to enter an apprenticeship programme
Vocational courses in Electrical Technology Skills are the study about maintenance of Electrical equipment used and set up by the industries.
With the help of this vocational course, the students will get the working knowledge of Installation as well as Commissioning of Industrial equipment like Servo Voltage Stabiliser, UPS, Industrial Battery Charger, etc.
Students will also acquire knowledge of component identification and safety, the study of the layout of wirings, and precautionary measures while handling high voltage equipment, energy conservation, audit, etc.
